Registration in the Deutsche Volksliste - German
An old woman in the Reichsgau Danzig-West Prussia is enrolled in the Deutsche Volksliste (German People's List). This registration granted people German citizenship. Prior to this was checked the descent of the people and their political views before the invasion of Germany in Poland. The so-called Bekenntnisdeutsche, who were politically supporting the German Volkstum, could also get on the Deutsche Volksliste. This was a common practice of the National Socialists also in the Reichskommissariat Ukraine and in Northern France
