The former director of HAPAG, Dr. Wilhelm Cuno, was the independent Reichs Chancellor from November 1922 until August 1923. The passive resistance proclaimed by him against the French occupation of the Ruhr failed. The photo shows Dr. Cuno on a visit to Munich receiving a bouquet of flowers in front of the main train station
