The picture shows the final operation of the Reichswehr maneuvers in the province of Frontier March of Posen-West Prussia. Dummy tanks made of wood, cardboard and tin, which were mounted on a motor vehicle, advance in the field. The Treaty of Versailles prohibited the Reichswehr the possession of real tanks.
