Soldiers of the German Reichswehr protect the Myslowitzer pit in Upper Silesia. They have been summoned there to protect the border against Polish attacks and to curb riots. In August 1919, it came to a Polish invasion in Upper Silesia with occupation of the circles Myslowitz, Katowice and Bytom
