Release of prisoners in the Dachau Concentration
After the Reichstag election victory in November 1933, the Nazi government ordered the release of about 6, 000 prisoners from the concentration camps as part of a Gnadenaktion (act of mercy). Here, the amnestied men receive their discharge papers in the presence of the guards
