Removal of the black ribbon by the Stahlhelm

After the reintroduction of compulsory military service, the National Socialist Alliance of Red Front-Fighters (Stahlhelm) decided to remove the black ribbon from their flags. 8, 000 men of the Berlin Gau of the Stahlhelm were deployed on Jahnsportplatz in the Volkspark Hasenheide in Berlin, in order to solemnly remove the black ribbons from the flags.
