The last residence of Anton Bruckner, 1926

The last residence of the Austrian composer Anton Bruckner, the so-called Kustodenstoeckl in the Prinz-Eugen-Strasse 27 in the 3rd district of Vienna. Since Bruce had to struggle with mobility impairment in his last years, the Emperor Franz Joseph I allocated an apartment to him at Kustodentrakt of the Upper Belvedere, so as to avoid the burdensome stairs climbing. Bruckner lived here from 1895 until his death in 1896
