The Residenz in Munich
The Residenz, also known as Alte Residenz, seen from the Feldherrenhalle (on the right in the picture) before 1945. Two bronze lions are on guard at the two doors of the Residence, the entrance to the Kaiserhof. It was the Munich City Palace and the largest inner city palace in Germany (undated photo)
