Behind the Wittelsbach Fountain, which stands on the Residenzplatz in Passau, you can see the east choir of St. Stephen's Cathedral. On the left the square is bordered by the Neue Residenz, on the right by the Marschallhaus (or palace of the prince-bishop chancellor). The undated photograph was probably taken around 1925
