Residenzplatz in Passau, around 1930
Behind the Wittelsbach Fountain, which stands on the Residenzplatz in Passau, one can see the east choir of St. Stephan's Cathedral. At the base of the fountain is written: Remembrance of the 100 / year affiliation / of the city of Passau to the Crown / of Bavaria / 1803 1903'. On the left the square is bordered by the Neue Residenz, on the right by the Marschallhaus (or palace of the prince-bishop chancellor). The undated photograph was probably taken around 1930
