A group of children from the Italian Opera Nazionale Balilla take a break in a meadow during a training march in 1936. Their marching packs and knapsacks serve as seats for the boys. Two of them are discussing, one pointing his finger at (probably) a rifle. Ruins and an abandoned farmstead can be seen in the background
