On the HAPAG steamer General St. Martin the participants of a glider expedition to South America return to Germany. The pilots H. Reitsch, H. Dittmar, P, Riedel and W. Hirth as well as the leader of the expedition, Prof. Walter Georgii had flown with 5 planes from Rio de Janeiro to Sao Paulo and Buenos Aires
