Robert F. Scott, 1910/11
British arctic explorer Robert F. Scott (born 1868, died end of March 1912). On October 24, 1911, Scott departed from Kap Evans for the South Pole. Together with his team, he reached the pole four weeks after Roald Amundsen's arrival, on January 18, 1912. The picture shows Scott during the preparations for his departure
