Romanesque Cafe, 1929
In 1916, the merchant Bruno Fiering opened a coffee house in the Romanisches Haus in the Charlottenburg district. The restaurant was popular in the art scene of Berlin and among intellectuals. With the absence of Jewish regulars under National Socialism, the cafe lost its character as a cafe for artists
