Sabaudia construction site in Italy, 1934
The town of Sabaudia was the second new foundation on the territory of the drained Pontine marshes and was inaugurated by Mussolini on 15 April 1934. In the picture taken before the inauguration, numerous workers are crossing the Piazza del Comune of the new municipality, in the background you can see the Town Hall with the Torre Civica, both still under construction
