The sarcophagus of Anton Bruckner, 1940
The sarcophagus of the Austrian composer Anton Bruckner in the St. Florian's Priory. Bruckner worked there in the years 1850-55 as an organist. The coffin of the composer stands on a sandstone base. The remains of about 6, 000 people at the rear wall of the tomb are from a cemetery near the church, which was abandoned in 1291
