School in Berlin, 1931

Students from the Kaiser Friedrich School in Berlin bring either a piece of pressed coal or a potato in the school to help needy families. There the teacher collects these every morning before the class starts. The reason for the collection was the lasting mass unemployment and the plight of the affected families in the winter months of the economic crisis. Without date, probably in 1931
