Striking students of the 15th and 16th Gemeindeschule (Municipal School) in Berlin-Neukoelln. They carry a banner with the slogan Worker parents support the school strike in Neukoelln'. A boy carries a sign around his neck saying Because of the austerity measures of the city council, the 15th and 16th Municipal School is on strike'. The background is the savings of the municipalities due to the global economic crisis. The KPD also used the strike to achieve its own party political goals
