Shelter for homeless women in Berlin, 1908

Homeless women in a shelter in the Fuesilierstrasse in Berlin. The women sit in the collecting hall and wait for entrance into the shelter. Since children are visible in the background, it is obvious that the women were allowed to bring their children with them into the shelter. The woman in the foreground to the right is one of the supervision staff
