Siege of Stralsund, 1628

The Siege of Strahlsund. Between 1625-1629 (Danish-Lower Saxon war) King Christian of Denmark (Duke of Holstein and head of the Lower Saxon Empire) entered the war. Wallenstein and Tilly pushed him back to Jutland after Tilly's victory near Lutter at Barenberg (1626). Wallenstein conquered North Germany and laid siege in 1628, but did not take it. In 1629 Emperor Ferdinand concludes with King Christian the Peace of Luebeck
