Sinking of the Admiral Graf Spee

The German battleship, Admiral Graf Spee, sinks in the harbour of Montevideo, Uruguay after being scuttled by its crew. The ship was damaged during engagements with British cruisers in the Battle of the River Plate and sunk by the crew to avoid the ship falling into the hands of the Royal Navy
