Sinking of airship L 19
Reconstruction of the sinking of airship L 19 for a German documentary. The badly damaged zeppelin L 19 went down on the North Sea during its return from an air raid on England. The captain of the English steam fishing trawler King Stephen was the last person to talk to the crew of the airship, who had fled to the roof of the wreck. However, he refused to take them on board, allegedly for fear of being hijacked. As a result the crew drowned during the sinking of L 19. 01.01.1914-31.12.1918
