Soldiers at the entrance of the training place Barnstorf

Soldiers of the Reichswehr had the possibility to attend, on so-called Reichswehr training estates, agricultural technical training that would allow them to work as farmers and settlers after the end of their service. The Reichswehr had leased training goods to facilitate the transition of soldiers to civilian life after their service. Additionally, they intended to secure targeted colonization especially in the eastern areas of the German Reich. Undated picture. Date created: 01.01.1930-31.12.1930
