Soldiers of the Guardia Civil, a paramilitary police unit (later joined Franco), are searching for hidden and left-behind weapons after a peasant riot in the neighborhood of the village of Bevolte near Yeste, the region of Albacete, Castilla-La Mancha. Previously, groups of armed peasants had revolted and attacked private farms on June 14, 1936 (one month before the Civil War).
