The picture, taken by an American soldier in early July, shows a Red Army soldier in the room in the Fuhrerbunker, the study where Adolf Hitler and Eva Braun committed suicide. With his boots, the soldier stands on the upholstered parts of the sofa on which Adolf and Eva Hitler killed themselves
