After the outbreak of the Civil War in Spain in June, 1936, a group of Spanish refugees from the Spanish Basque country are waiting for the chance to enter the safe France at the Irun crossing to Hendaye (a bridge), on the French Atlantic coast on the 22nd of June, 1936.
