Special stamps of Gdansk, 1939
After the unlawful annexation of Gdansk to the German Reich, the Deutsche Reichspost (German Post) issued special stamps for 6 and 12 Reichspfennig at all post offices and offices. On the left stamp, the St. Mary's Church. On the right, the Crane of Gdansk and the inscription Gdansk is German. German Empire
