St. Kastor church in Koblenz, 1929

The former collegiate church and present day parish church St. Kastor was consecrated in 836 under Louis the Pious and is the oldest church in Koblenz. The nave and apse were built in the middle of the 12th century. The name of the patron saint of the church guards above the entrance way
