At the Waldhaus in Saarbruecken, the Alliance of Red Front-Fighters (Stahlhelm) performs a morning service in the presence of Bundesfuehrer (federal leader) Franz Seldte in celebration of the annexation of the Saar to the German Reich. The flags are lowered in honor of the war victims to the song Der Gute Kamerad'('The good Comrade')
