Standstill Committee, 1931

The French delegates after a meeting of the Standstill Committee in the Reichsbank. Before that a protocol was signed on the Hoover moratorium at an expert's conference in London. The reparations payments of the German Reich are suspended for one year. In the Standstill Agreements of 19 August 1931 the foreign creditors obliged themselves to respite the short-term loans (standstill credits) granted to German banks and companies
