Statue of the hero Achilles sculpted by Prof. Johannes Goetz for the castle garden on Corfu. Wilhelm II bought the former estate of the Austrian Empress Elisabeth (Sissi), the so-called Achilleion. The Kaiser commissioned a new statue of Achilles to replace the statue of the dying Achilles which stood in the garden of the country house
