Stratospheric balloon Preussen preparing to start in B
Preparations for the start of the Preussen, a stratospheric balloon with two scientists on board. Prof. Dr. Reinhard Saring and Dr. Arthur Berson will lift off into the stratosphere for important measurements and experiments in higher altitudes. Until today they are holding the world record with their achieved height of 10.500 meters in a balloon with an open gondola. Date created: 31.07.1901
