The Sudetenland crisis, 1938
Sudeten German refugees and members of the Sudeten German Freikorps march to Asch (today As). Asch is situated at the border of the German Reich. Since the seizure of power of the National Socialists in Germany, the conflicts between the Sudeten German minority and the Czechoslovaks had intensified. According to the Munich Agreement in October 1938, Czechoslovakia had to cede the Sudeten German territories to the German Reich
