During the civil war in Kabul the bodies of the followers of Bacha-i-Saqao (Habibullah Kalakani) are hanged as a deterrent on the orders of the new King Mohammad Nadir Khan. On the outskirts of Kabul, hang the bodies of Wali (governor of the city, 2nd from right) and his bodyguard. Traditionalist forces led by the Tajik Bacha-i-Saqao had overthrown in January 1929 the former King Amanullah Khan
