Swearing-in of recruits of the regiment General Goering
Recruits of the Regiment General Goering make oath of allegiance. The flag is the flag of the 1st Battalion of the Regiment General Goering (recognizable on the small sign with the logo Southern Cross'). The unit arose from the Landespolizeigruppe General Goering - the writing still can be read on the armband while soldiers already wear the insignia of the Luftwaffe on their uniforms. Note also the unusual arrangement of the insignia on the steel helmets
