Swimming pool in a dance palace in Berlin, 1931
In the new Tanzpalast ('Dance Palace') in Berlin-Mitte, the former Altes Ballhaus in Joachimstrasse, a swimming pool was built as an attraction, from the edge of which some swimmers want to jump into the water. On the left, some guests watch from the dance floor. The trend of bathing in dance palaces was taken over from Paris. The picture was taken in 1931
