In the new Tanzpalast ('Dance Palace') in Berlin-Mitte, the former Altes Ballhaus in Joachimstrasse, a swimming pool was built as an attraction, where women and a man are taking a bath. On the left, guests are watching from the dance floor. The trend of bathing in dance palaces was taken over from Paris. The picture was taken in 1931
