A so-called Neubaufahrzeug (newly constructed vehicle) in the assembly hall of the Henschelwerke in Kassel. This was the cover name for the first heavy tank of the Wehrmacht, of which five were built in 1935. In the background a Panzer III Ausf. E. is mounted (recognizable by the drive), therefore the picture was probably made earliest in September 1939. The Balkenkreuz also suggests a dating after 1939
