Tank parade on the East-West axis in Berlin, 1938
On 25 August 1938, Adolf Hitler and the Hungarian Reichsverweser Miklos Horthy took part in a parade in honour of Horthy's visit. The parade with Panzer II (front), Panzer I and other vehicles of the newly created Panzer Divisions led along the East-West axis (today: Strasse des 17. Juni) in Berlin-Mitte from the Brandenburg Gate to Charlottenburg to the Technische Hochschule (today: TU Berlin). The picture below shows Lieutenant General Seifert (presumably Ernst Seifert) reporting the parade formation. Horthy and Adolf Hitler are sitting in the first vehicle (probably a Mercedes Benz 770k), followed by a detachment of the SS and other vehicles with Nazi officials
