About 300 self-appointed political guardians of public morals in Santa Rosa hunted down two alleged communist agitators and tarred and feathered them. The two victims were the sign painter Jack Green and the chicken farmer Solomon Nitzberg. Shown is Nitzberg, who was forced to kiss the American flag and then was chase through the streets
