Theodor Wolff at the Karl Kraus process, 1931

The process of the Viennese journalist Karl Kraus, the publisher of the Fackel, against the Chief Editor of the Berliner Tageblatt, Theodor Wolff took place before the Appeal Board in Moabit on 19 October. The process is based on the claim of Karl Kraus, that influencing of the critics (meaning especially the theater-criticism in the Berliner Tageblatt by the editor in chief) is common. As evidence, Alfred Kerr invoked against Max Reinhardt the statement of the first critic in the Berliner Tageblatt, before and after joining the editorial staff of the Berliner Tageblatt'.
