On January 26, 1928 the Titania-Palast, a modern cinema at that time, was opened in the Schlossstrasse, corner Gutsmuthsstrasse in Berlin-Steglitz. The 2000-seat building has a 37-meter high light tower with 160000 candles. In the picture, final preparations are being made for the grand opening ceremony
