The tower of St. Mary's Church in Gdansk, 1929
View of one of the towers of St. Mary's Church in Gdansk. The foundation stone was laid in 1343 and the church was completed in 1502. It was built in Brick Gothic style. It is one of the largest brick churches north of the Alps and inside is room for 25, 000 people. It houses the famous triptych The Last Judgment by the painter Hans Memling
