In a game at the Midsummer Festival of the Deutsches Jungvolk in Berlin, 1935, the fallen are being honored and carried to the fire by the Hitler Youth. Such games served as preparation for the later military life of the boys and were supposed to train them for the utmost willingness to sacrifice themselves for the fatherland
