Transfer of the remains of Goffredo Mameli to the Ossuary

After the construction of the Ossuary for the Fallen of the Roman Republic of 1849 on the Gianicolo in Rome, the bones of Goffredo Mameli were transferred from the Vittoriano to the new Ossuary. The procession was accompanied by numerous officers on 20 November 1941
