Transport of flags of the Teutonic Knights to the Marienburg
The replica of 18 flags of the Teutonic Knights, that were taken in 1610, are transported after the occupation of Poland from Krakow to Marienburg, the headquarter of the knights. There they will be handed from the General Governor of Poland Hans Frank to the Governor of Danzig, Albert Forster. Poland kept them as war trophies in the Wawel castle. The image depicts the marching of the flags in front of the commander of the Wehrkreis XX (Eastern Prussia) Lieutenant General Max von Bock in front of the castle
