Transporting material for the long distance water supply sys

The Harz waterworks started with the construction of the long distance water supply system from the Soese Dam near Osterode to Bremen, which was 200 km long. The United Steelworks A.G. Duesseldorf was also involved in this project and supplied the steel socket pipes. The photo shows the first freight cars with steel socket pipes. The propaganda slogan First car for the construction of the long distance water supply system of the Harz waterworks - work and bread from Hitler! is written on this car
