Trip route of the German submarine U-180 in the Second World
The drawing shows the trip route of the German U-180, which leaves on the 09.02.1943 under the commander, corvette captain Musenberg, its home port of Kiel. It is supposed to bring the Indian freedom fighter Subhas Chandera Bose and his assistant Dr. Rahaman in the direction of Japan. East of Madagascar, the Japanese submarine I-29 takes over the two, and in Japan they exclaim an Indian government in exile
