The oldest oscillating lever typewriter made of wood and sheet metal parts, designed by the Partschins carpenter Peter Mitterhofer in 1864, is exhibited in the Ostmark exhibition at the Radio Tower, Mountains, People and the Economy of the Ostmark ('Berge, Menschen und Wirtschaft der Ostmark') in 1939.
