Ulrich Graf with Adolf Hitler
Adolf Hitler with Ulrich Graf, co-founder of the NSDAP in 1920 and in the twenties Hitler's bodyguard, on the occasion of Graf's 60th Birthday. Graf threw himself on Adolf Hitler during the exchange of fire at the Hitler Putsch in Munich (1923) and caught 11 bullets. He enjoyed prestige as Hitler's life preserver. On the right breast pocket of his uniform, he wears the so-called Blood Order, which identifies him as a participant in the coup
